On-the-Go Oatmeal

On the go oatmeal

Ingredients:
1/2 cup100% organic quick oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground flax seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
Dash of sea salt

Optional “toppings”
¼ cup sesame seeds
½ cup sliced almonds or chopped pecans
1 Tbsp coconut flakes
1 Tbsp cacao nibs
½ cup berries
½ sliced banana
1 Tbsp maple syrup/honey

Directions:
Put oats, chia and flax seeds, cinnamon and salt in a pint glass mason jar and shake it up. Layer on toppings. Seal the jar. It’s perfect for on-the-go — just add 1 cup boiling water, let sit 5-10 minutes. Grab a spoon and enjoy! This easy, nutrient-dense snack is full of disease-fighting nutrients and health benefits that will keep you full and help curb your cravings!
